Layers Of Rainforest

The forest consists of layers, which all have another characteristic of the motherland and for a number of different birds, animals and insects. They are also a wide variety of plants, according to the layers of the forest, where they exist. There are five layers of the forest, clearly define them.

Forest soils is lowest. Much of sunlight does not penetrate and here, in fact, only 2% of solar radiation reaches the ground. This layer is home to millions of micro-organisms and invertebrates that live under fallen leaves. There is some mosses and ferns grow in hot and humid. Many large animals are also big cats, elephants and gorillas.

In addition, a shrub layer, which is home to many varieties of ferns and shrubs. Of the forest and then layers with a layer of small trees less known story. Even if they are small in comparison with the trees of the forest higher up they are still about 20 meters in height. This growth is in itself under the crown of the roof of the forest and looked there, a place for himself. You can find birds, snakes, butterflies and frogs here, and throughout the country with activity and color.

The canopy layer next up is probably the best known layers of the forest. Trees up to 35 meters high and form a canopy on the lower layers over light. Many monkeys to be done, like sloths, snakes, insects and some many frogs and lizards.

Canopy above the layer is emerging. This is the highest layers of the forest and includes the highest peaks of trees. It is not nearly as close as the eaves and trees look almost to the point above the opening of the forest. The wildlife in this area is comparable, as the canopy, although the animals can be reduced. They did not find, sloths, but there is some small monkeys. This is a very difficult area to study because of its inaccessibility. In recent times, but there were few bridges and found that researchers can to the activity of the diaper.

Each layer of the forest is a distinct community, but they work together as a whole and not one can survive without the other. This is up to them intuitively, and it is as complete unit. If we can learn to live with the same respect for the other on the ground, we may be able to save our forests and the Commonwealth, lives there.
